Free website check for construction subcontractors

Does your website pass the Tender Check?

You would not return a tender without reading the PQQ first. Your website faces the same test every day, carried out by quantity surveyors, procurement teams, main contractors and AI assistants deciding who makes the shortlist. Sixteen quick questions, a few minutes of your time, your results straight away and a copy by email.

Where should we send your Tender Check result?

Sixteen yes or no questions, about three minutes. You will see your results straight away, and we will email you a copy.

What best describes you?
What each stage checks

Sixteen questions that decide whether a buyer finds, verifies and shortlists you.

Every question is something a QS or procurement team does, consciously or not, before they decide whether to invite you to tender.

STAGE 01

Found

Appearing on page one for your trade plus your region, having 10 or more Google reviews from clients and main contractors, giving each trade its own page and being named when AI tools are asked for a subcontractor.

STAGE 02

Verified

Showing your CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor or SMAS accreditation with level and expiry written out, your ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates with issuing body, your insurance limits, and business details that match Companies House and the registers.

STAGE 03

Evidenced

Publishing case studies with client, main contractor, value band, programme and scope, sector pages for housing, education, healthcare and infrastructure, a downloadable capability statement and your H&S and environmental figures.

STAGE 04

Contacted

A named tender contact with a direct email and phone, a stated response time for tender invitations, tap-to-call on mobile and a route for sending drawings and tender packs.

After the check

Our team looks at your site, then tells you the truth.

Automated website audits are mostly noise: scores for things that do not affect whether a buyer shortlists you. So after you finish, one of our team opens your site, checks the things you cannot see from the inside and sends you a short message within one working day.

  • Whether your SSIP accreditations, ISO certificates and insurance limits exist as text an AI tool can read, or only as logos.
  • How your site loads on a phone over a mobile connection, measured rather than guessed.
  • What ChatGPT and Google AI actually say when asked for a subcontractor in your trade and region.
  • One screenshot showing the first thing a QS sees, and what it tells them.

If you need a rebuild we will say so and quote from £3,999. If the £999 Foundations Sprint is enough, we will say that. If your site is fine, we will tell you to keep your money.

Questions about the Tender Check

Is the Tender Check really free?

Yes. It is a self-assessment you complete in about three minutes. You see your score straight away and we email you a copy, then one of our team looks at your site and sends a short personal review within one working day. Nothing is charged and nothing is automatically signed up for.

Why do you ask for my details before the questions?

So the result and the personal review can reach you even if you get interrupted halfway through. Your details are saved as soon as you press continue. We use them to send your result and to follow up once by phone or email. We do not sell or share them.

What are the four stages?

Found: can buyers and AI tools find you for your trade in your region? Verified: can they verify your accreditations, certificates and insurance quickly? Evidenced: do case studies, sector pages and a capability statement prove you have delivered their kind of package? Contacted: is it quick to get a tender to the right person once they are ready? Each stage has four questions worth up to two points, so a stage clears at six out of eight and the whole site scores out of 32.

How accurate is a self-assessment?

Honest answers give an accurate picture of the things that matter most. The personal review is where we check the parts you cannot see, such as whether your accreditations are written out where AI tools can read them, how fast your site loads on a phone and what ChatGPT says when asked for a subcontractor in your region.

What happens after I get my result?

You get the emailed copy straight away. Within one working day you get a short message from our team with one or two specific findings and a screenshot. If a rebuild, the Foundations Sprint or a monthly plan is the right next step we will say so and quote the published price. If it is not, we will tell you that too.

Will you call me?

Once, if your result suggests we can help and you have given a phone number. If you would rather deal with us by email, say so in the reply and we will.
