Websites for construction subcontractors

Subcontractor websites that win the tender.

A website that gets found on Google and named by AI tools, earns the trust of the quantity surveyors, procurement teams and main contractors who check you before they issue a tender, and is built around how construction packages are actually procured.

From £3,999, no hidden fees, live in six weeksHosting and domain free for a yearYou own everything

Found where buyers look

Trade, sector and region pages built around real searches, so you show up in Google and in ChatGPT and Google AI answers when a buyer asks for a subcontractor.

Verified in a minute

Your SSIP accreditations, ISO certificates and insurance limits written out so Google and AI tools can read them, linked to the registers buyers actually check.

Tenders, not just visits

PQQ-shaped case studies, a downloadable capability statement and a named tender contact with a route for drawings, so an enquiry arrives ready to price.

Clear price, six weeks

One agreed price, copy written for you, hosting and domain free for the first year, and every login in your name.

The problem

Your current site looks fine to you and fails the buyer.

The accreditations are logos. Every trade shares a page. There are no case studies with values, no sector pages and no capability statement. A QS cannot verify you, a procurement team cannot score you and an AI assistant cannot cite you. So the tender goes to a competitor whose site answers those questions.

What we build instead

A site that clears all four stages.

Found for your trade in your region. Verified through accreditations in words that Google and AI tools can read. Evidenced with case studies and sector proof. Contacted through a named tender contact and tap-to-call. The same checks our free Tender Check scores, built in from the start.

What is included

Everything a buyer checks, nothing you will not use.

Trade pages that match how packages are procured

Up to 25 pages: a separate page for each trade and service you tender for, groundworks, drainage, RC frames, steel, M&E, cladding, demolition, fit-out or scaffolding, each covering scope, typical package values, sectors and the accreditations that apply.

Sector pages for the work you want more of

Housing, education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and infrastructure, each with a named project and the standards and frameworks that sector buys through, so a procurement team sees their world on your site.

An accreditations page a buyer can verify

CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor or SMAS with level and expiry, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 with issuing body, insurance limits and renewal month, written out so Google and AI tools can read them, each linked to its public register.

Regional pages with local substance

Up to ten regions written around real projects, local main contractors and the type of work found there, so they rank rather than reading as copy-and-paste pages.

A capability statement that travels

A two-page capability statement and company profile, built from the site and downloadable as a PDF, so a buyer can attach you to a tender without emailing first and it never goes out of date.

Case studies and H&S evidence

Up to 15 case studies written the way a PQQ asks for them: client, main contractor, value band, programme, scope and a named contracts manager, plus your accident frequency rate, RIDDOR history and environmental figures on one page.

Tender-ready from day one

Procurement teams check your website before they score a tender. We build in the capability statement, case studies written to answer quality questions and a company profile setting out your credentials, policies and people, so the site does the PQQ work for you.

A tender route that works on a phone

A named tender contact with a direct email and phone, a stated response time, document upload for drawings and tender packs, tap-to-call in the header and a sticky call bar on mobile. Every enquiry emailed to you and stored in WordPress.

The technical layer

Behind-the-scenes setup that helps Google and AI tools understand your business and every trade, Google Business Profile set-up or clean-up, Search Console, analytics with call and form tracking, and IP tracking so you can see which companies are looking at your site.

Hosting and domain, free for a year

Fast, secure UK hosting with SSL and your domain, registered in your name, both free for the first year. We confirm the renewal cost before the year is up.

Handover you can actually use

A walkthrough at launch showing you how to update text, add photos and post news yourself, plus every login handed over in your name. You are never dependent on us to change a phone number.

Why this build

Six things this website gives you.

Exclusive enquiries, not shared leads

Every enquiry the site produces comes to you alone. No platform selling it to four other contractors, no racing to be first on the phone.

Built only for construction subcontractors

Every page, question and credential is specific to how tendered construction work is procured. Nothing generic, nothing you will not use.

Same domain, no lost rankings

We launch on your existing domain and redirect every old page that ranked to its new equivalent, so nothing you have earned disappears on launch day.

One clear price, agreed date

From £3,999 and a six-week delivery date set before we start. If we need something from you we say so on day one, not in week three.

Everything in place before the first visitor

The behind-the-scenes setup that helps Google and AI tools read your site, plus Google Business Profile, Search Console, analytics, call tracking and IP tracking are live at launch, not bolted on later.

You own it all

Domain, hosting, website, content and every login are in your name from day one. Everything we build is yours from day one, so you are always in control.

Why the accreditations page matters most

If a machine cannot read your accreditation, neither can the buyer who asked it.

Every main contractor and public sector buyer checks SSIP accreditation, Constructionline membership and insurance before a subcontractor is shortlisted, and the registers are public. Increasingly they ask an AI assistant to check them. If your CHAS certificate only exists as a logo on your site, the assistant has nothing to verify and names a competitor whose accreditation is in plain text.

Every site we build puts your SSIP accreditation with level and expiry, Constructionline membership, ISO certificates, insurance limits and trade memberships written out so Google and AI tools can read them, each linked to the public register. It is the single change that moves a subcontractor from “cannot verify” to “recommended”.

How it works

Five steps, six weeks, no surprises.

1

Discovery call and gathering

A 30-minute call about your work, your best packages and the main contractors and sectors you want more of. Then we collect certificates, insurance, photos and your answers to a short questionnaire.

2

Structure and copy

We map the pages to the searches and checks that matter, then write every page. You correct anything we got wrong about the work before design starts.

3

Design and build

A modern, fast site built in WordPress around your accreditations and proof, tested on real phones and on a site office connection.

4

Accreditations and set-up

Accreditations and certificates written out so Google and AI tools can read them, plus your Google Business Profile, Search Console, analytics with call tracking and IP tracking.

5

Launch and handover

Live on your domain with redirects from any old pages that ranked, a screen-recorded walkthrough and every login handed over.

Who it is for

Built for the way your kind of work is procured.

Groundworks, civils and frames

Main contractors and developers need to verify you before they shortlist you. The accreditations, sector and case study pages carry that work, while trade and region pages bring the enquiries that fill the programme between frameworks.

Steel, M&E and envelope

Your packages are specified early and bought on evidence. Your site shows design capability, certifications such as CE and UKCA marking, named engineers and the sector projects that prove you have delivered at the value a buyer is pricing.

Demolition, scaffolding and fit-out

You are first on site or last off it, and buyers find you under programme pressure. Trade pages with clear scope, regional pages with real substance and a tender route that works on a phone are what make the enquiry land.

How we work

We measure everything, so you know what is working.

Anyone can make a website look good. Making one that wins packages takes evidence, and the patience to keep it current. We pair good design with a proper strategy, then track every call, form, tender enquiry and AI mention, so results build month after month rather than being left to chance.

Creative

Work that earns the click

Design, imagery and copy written for how construction packages are actually procured, so a buyer stays long enough to check you and likes what they find.

Strategy

Planned from real data

Every page starts with evidence: real search volumes, the Constructionline and CHAS registers and what ChatGPT and Google AI actually say about your trade in your region. No hunches, no templates.

Measured

Results you can count

Calls, forms, tender enquiries, AI mentions and the companies visiting your site are tracked from day one and reported on one page every month. What works gets more; what does not gets cut.

Questions about the website build

What exactly do I get from £3,999?

A complete, hand-built WordPress site: a homepage, up to 25 trade and service pages, up to ten regional pages, up to five sector pages, an accreditations page with every certificate written out so Google and AI tools can read them, up to 15 case studies written from your photos and notes, a downloadable capability statement, an H&S and environmental page, an about page, a tender route with document upload that works on a phone, and the technical setup most sites miss, with Google Business Profile set-up, Search Console, analytics with call tracking and IP tracking. Copy is written by us from a 30-minute call and your answers to a short questionnaire. The price is agreed before we start, the delivery date is fixed and you own everything.

What is not included?

Photography and your domain name, if you already have one. Most subcontractors already pay for a domain, so we build on it. Hosting is free for the first year and we confirm the renewal cost before then. Photography is optional: phone photos from site, taken the way we show you, work well for case studies.

How long does it take?

Six weeks from the first call, with the date agreed before we start. Weeks one and two are gathering certificates, insurance, photos and case study details while we map the structure. Week three is copy for your approval. Weeks four and five are design, build and the technical layer. Week six is testing on real phones, your sign-off and launch. The one thing that can slow it is waiting for certificates and project details, so we ask for those on day one.

Do we have to write anything?

No. You answer questions on a call and in a short form. We write every page in plain English that a QS and an AI tool can both read. You review and correct anything we got wrong about your work before it goes live.

Will the new site rank straight away?

No, and anyone who promises that is guessing. A new site built properly starts to pick up searches for your trade and region within a few weeks and builds from there. Pages that answer specific questions, such as which accreditations you hold or what sectors you have delivered in, tend to appear in AI answers sooner than general pages. Website management from £299 a month is how you keep the momentum going after launch.

Can you keep our existing domain and email?

Yes. The site goes live on your existing domain and nothing changes with your email. If your current site has pages that already rank, we map them to the new pages so you do not lose that traffic at launch.

We mostly work for one or two main contractors. Is the site still worth it?

Yes, and for a different reason. When your main contractor bids a job, their procurement team scores the supply chain they intend to use, and your website is part of that evidence. A site with accreditations, case studies and H&S figures a buyer can verify makes you easier to put forward. It also means you are findable when a new contractor or framework comes to the region.

We are a specialist contractor, not a general subcontractor.

Then your site needs to explain the specialism in the buyer’s language, show the certifications and approvals that apply to it, name the engineers and supervisors behind it and prove it with projects at the value a buyer is pricing. We build that version too. Specialist packages are specified earlier and checked harder, which is exactly where a verifiable website pays.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain, your hosting, your WordPress login and every file. There is no licence fee and no monthly charge to keep the site live: the website is yours outright. If you want someone else to look after it later, they can.

Can we update it ourselves?

Yes. It is built on WordPress, so adding a case study or updating an accreditation renewal date is straightforward. We give you a short screen-recorded walkthrough at handover. Most clients let us handle updates on the monthly plan, and the choice is always yours.

Do you build the site before we pay?

Half on booking, half before launch. You see the structure and copy before any design work starts, and the whole site on a private link before it goes live.
